Surveys

Build and send surveys via SMS or email to collect feedback, ratings, or structured responses from your contacts.


Creating a survey

  1. Go to Marketing → Surveys
  2. Click New Survey
  3. Set:
  4. Survey Name — internal label
  5. Welcome Message — first message sent to participants
  6. Thank You Message — sent after the last question is answered

Survey builder

Add questions using the Survey Builder:

Question Type Description
Text Free-form text response
Number Numeric input
Rating Scale from 1–5 or 1–10
Multiple Choice Participant picks from a list of options
Yes/No Binary answer

For each question, set: - Question text — what the participant sees - Required — whether an answer is mandatory before proceeding - Order — drag to reorder


Distributing a survey

Surveys are distributed via SMS:

  1. Open the survey
  2. Click Send Survey
  3. Select the contact group to send to
  4. The welcome message + first question are sent as an SMS

Responses are collected conversationally: each answer triggers the next question automatically.


Viewing responses

Go to Marketing → Survey Reports to see:

  • Total respondents
  • Completion rate
  • Per-question response breakdown
  • Individual responses per contact

Click Export to download responses as a CSV file.


Survey respondents

Marketing → Survey Respondents shows a list of all contacts who participated in any survey, with:

  • Survey name
  • Status (in progress / completed)
  • Start and completion date
  • Individual answers

Tips

  • Keep surveys short — 3 to 5 questions have the best completion rates for SMS
  • Use rating questions for NPS or CSAT scoring
  • Send at times when customers are likely to be available (avoid early morning or late night)
