Email Metrics

Track the performance of your email sending across all campaigns and individual sends.

Go to Marketing → Email Metrics to access the email metrics dashboard.


Time range filter

Option Shows data for
Last 7 days Previous 7 days
Last 30 days Previous 30 days (default)
Last 90 days Previous 90 days

Each metric includes a comparison to the equivalent prior period.


Key metrics

Emails Sent

Total emails accepted by the delivery service during the period. Includes delivered, bounced, and held messages — excludes only hard failures before submission.

Delivered

Emails confirmed as delivered to the recipient's inbox.

Delivery Rate

Delivery Rate = Delivered / Sent × 100

Failed

Emails that could not be sent (rejected before submission — e.g. invalid address format, unverified sender domain).

Bounces

Emails returned by the recipient's mail server after submission:

  • Hard bounce — permanent failure (address doesn't exist). The address is automatically suppressed from future sends.
  • Soft bounce — temporary failure (inbox full, server unavailable). The system may retry.

Opens

Unique opens tracked via a transparent 1×1 pixel loaded when the recipient opens the email.

Note

Open tracking requires images to be enabled in the recipient's email client. Some clients block tracking pixels, so actual open rates may be higher than reported.

Clicks

Clicks on any link inside the email, tracked via redirect.

Open Rate & Click Rate

Open Rate  = Unique Opens / Delivered × 100
Click Rate = Unique Clicks / Delivered × 100

Industry averages vary by sector. A 20–30% open rate and 2–5% click rate are typical for marketing emails.

Unsubscribes

Recipients who clicked the unsubscribe link. They are added to the suppression list automatically.

  • Daily volume — sent vs. delivered per day
  • Engagement funnel — sent → delivered → opened → clicked
  • Bounce breakdown — hard vs. soft

Email Log

Go to Marketing → Email Log for a per-message view:

Date Send timestamp
To Recipient email
Subject Email subject line
Campaign Campaign name (if sent via campaign)
Status delivered, failed, bounced, opened

Search by recipient address, subject, or campaign name. Filter by status or date range.


Exporting

Click Export on the Email Log page to download results as CSV.
