Users & Permissions¶
Manage who has access to your store and what they can do.
User roles¶
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access to all features: channels, campaigns, contacts, settings, billing |
| Agent | Access to Inbox only — can read and reply to conversations |
Super Admin
Super Admin (role managed in the Admin Panel) has platform-wide access across all stores. This is typically the platform operator.
Adding a user¶
- Go to Settings → User Management (or System → Add User)
- Click Add User
- Fill in:
- Full Name
- Email — used for login
- Password — temporary password; the user should change it on first login
- Role — Admin or Agent
- Click Save
The user can now log in at your NotifyBulk URL with the credentials you set.
Editing a user¶
Go to Settings → User Management, click the user, and modify their details. You can:
- Change their name or email
- Reset their password
- Change their role
Deactivating a user¶
Click Deactivate on a user to prevent them from logging in without deleting their account. Deactivated users can be reactivated at any time.
Deleting a user¶
Click Delete on a user. This is permanent. Their conversation history and actions are preserved in the system logs.
Password requirements¶
- Minimum 8 characters
- Must include at least one number
- Must include at least one uppercase letter
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)¶
Users can enable MFA on their own account in Settings → Security. When enabled, a one-time code is required at every login.
Admins can see which users have MFA enabled in the user list (shield icon).
Audit trail¶
User actions (logins, campaign sends, contact changes) are logged. Admins can view this in Admin Panel → Moderation Log.
